WHAT IS AN EBOOK?
An electronic book (also e-book, ebook, digital book) is a book-length publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, and produced on, published through, and readable on computers or other electronic devices. Now days you may of written your book in text or Word or other word processor, so it is already in digital form.
WHAT WE DO
We, the e-book publisher upon acceptance of your book (be it a novel, biography, pictorial, thesis, poetry, etc) we undertake to publish your book in several widely acceptable e-book formats. There are now de facto standards for e-books depending upon the format your READER requires. Most books will be electronically published in .azw, .mobi, pdf, ePub, .txt & .html formats so they may be downloaded and 'read' by a Kindle, iPad, Sony's PRS-500 or another reader or on a standard computer. We will add output formats depending upon the demand for a specific e-reader.
EDITORIAL SERVICES
Creating a professional manuscript can take up to a year or more of your time. If your manuscript is not in electronic format we can convert your document. Our fee is $2.50 per page. If you wish your book to have the best possible chance of being a 'winner' we recommend you have your book professionally edited by our experienced editors. Their fees are: Initiation cost, $25.00, plus $2.00 per alteration.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
A BASIC e-book of upto 200 pages including your cover can be set up for a one-time fee of $700.00 (or 3 equal payments of $240.00 each in 3 x 30 day periods). 30 days after payment, we will supply you with the your e-book in the de facto common formats available. You may then place them upon your website for sale or with other e-book distributors. For larger and more complex books will prefer to quote you for your e-book printing requirement.
OUR EBOOK DISTRIBUTION
We are about to launch on this website an e-commerce store specifically to SELL the e-books we have printed for clients. Customers will select from our website the format of the e-book they want, pay for the download via our e-store payment gateway via credit card or Paypal and when the transaction os completed, the file will be ready for download to the customers computer or READER.
Too, we are in discussions with Amazon to include our e-commerce e-book store within their greater website so that we can increase your sales.
Prices for e-books on Amazon and other e-book distributors vary from $2.99 for a simple less than 50 page book to $15.99/$25.00, with the average e-book price of around $8.99 for an average 100-200 page book. Our fee for hosting your e-book on-line is 30% commission. We will account for sales monthly and pay you for the number of e-books you have sold that month.
OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT
YOU own your book, YOU hold the copyright on your publication. You are lending the book to us for the purpose of its sale.
HOW DO I READ AN EBOOK
You need a ebook reader – (such as, Kindle, iPad, Bbook, Sony reader, and many more - however most dedicated readers also have apps for smart phones (including Andriod) and iPhone type devices. You can even read them on your computer. Again all you need to do is type “ebook reader” into your search engine and start your search. For any computer you can download from Amazon a Kindle reader for your PC or Mac.
